    Epipen case

My son loved his new case for his epi-pens and his inhailer.. we love the small tube for carrying his Benadryl, so much better then carrying the whole bottle all the time.

    Great product! Almost perfect...

After trying out a couple different bags, I finally bought this one. My son's Auvi-Q auto injectors fit perfectly in it, and I use the elastic straps designed for the EpiPen to hold two small vials of Benadryl. There are three things that I think would make this the *perfect* meds bag. First, the slots that can hold cards/action plans are very deep and hard to get things out of. We carry an ICE card and chef cards, and I have them partially sticking out of the top of the pocket on the front. His action plan is just folded up inside the case. Second, I wish there was some way to have another elastic strap or easier internal pocket to hold an inhaler in place. Although it does fit inside, it's just loose and I worry about it falling out when trying to get at it. Lastly, I wish the outside of the case was a little more obvious that it's a medical bag. I know that the design is for kids who want to "blend in", but the fact that it looks like a pencil case on first glance could mean that it gets looked over in an emergency or mistaken for something it's not. My son is 3 right now and while older kids may be able to be responsible enough to communicate what it is, my son is not there yet and having an option for this size bag but without the "cute" print would give me more peace of mind.
